Gary Newey
Managing Director (Major Project Manager)
Gary founded Newey Installations many years ago, an advocate of efficient working to lower costs. His skill set ranges from a qualified electrical engineer through to designer and CAD. Gary is very much a hands-on MD, not afraid to pull on his overalls and get stuck in, whilst still remaining very customer focussed. He is an avid skier, and still plays regular hockey.
Jo Newey
Finance Director
Jo has been the backbone of the company for many years, knows where everything is and is also very experienced with a background in planning control and health and safety, providing IT and HR support. Jo has managed the finance through our organic growth periods, ensuring we keep our suppliers integrated and paid on time. Jo also loves to ski, choosing to retire from Hockey, but spends many hours in the gym.
Tom Newey
Project Manager
Tom is Gary and Jo’s youngest son. Tom has spent the last 12 months working within the business, learning how to complete successful projects. Tom is very active in ensuring our electrical certification is up to date, whilst successfully growing our retail client base. Tom will eventually take over as MD. Like father, like son he is a qualified electrician, who also plays regular Hockey at a high level. Skiing is also a favourite pastime.
Dave Collings
Workshop and Project Manager
When asked how long Dave has worked for Newey, he isn’t really sure. Dave has a huge amount of experience in the joinery and shop-fitting industry, normally having the solution for any problem, being the ‘go-to guy’ within the company. Dave’s passion is fishing and rallying, often disappearing on the weekends to be by a lake or a gravel track.
Julie Torrence
Administrator
Prepares Health and Safety documents for Projects, welcomes new business enquiries. Julie enjoys to keep fit, Walking and Spin Classes.
Ray Doyle
Project Manager
Ray’s background was in facilities management and refurbishments, a highly respected manager who is well liked by his clients. Ray was recommended to Neweys by a client, and very soon it became clear why. With a southern region responsibility, he has the uncanny knack of delivering every time and on time, often to be seen on his phone in Harley Street ensuring the project is on time. A football fanatic, Ray will travel Europe attending football games, but loves to be with his family whenever possible.
Steve Kowalcuzk
Workshop Supervisor
Steve carries his experience from site installation through to the workshop, understanding how items need to be built to ensure they will fit on site in the minimal amount of time. Hugely experienced as a wood machinist and craftsmen, Steve can fabricate from drawings or a description from the client.
Steve is well versed in current events and is a dedicated bird breeder.
